Papaya Salad
Ingredients:
This is a great salad during papaya season. Papaya should be a little ripe such that it is easily grated.
Ingredients:
1. 2 cups coarsely grated papaya
2. ¼ cup long shreds of cabbage
3. ½ cup long shreds of onions
4. ½ tomatoes, peeled and chopped finely
5. ½ tsp. of long shreds of garlic
6. long shreds of 1 green chili
7. 1 tsp. lemon juice
8. ¼ cup salted peanuts
9. salt to taste
For Garnishing:
1 green chili cut into 4 long shreds

1. Combine together all the vegetables, garlic and chilies. Season the vegetables with lemon juice and salt. Refrigerate till chilled.
2. Just before serving add peanuts and stir well. Take the green chili shreds and use them as petals to make a flower in the center.
