Iced Mint Tea
Ingredients:
1. 5 cups water
2. 2 tsp. ordinary black or Darjeeling tea leaves (2 tea bags)
3. ¼ cup sugar (to taste)
4. 1 cup fresh chopped mint leaves
5. 2 tbsp. lemon juice (or to taste)
6. 1 tsp. lemon ring
7. 1 tsp. orange ring
For Garnishing:
1 cup crushed ice
4 slices of lemon
4 little slices of orange
4 fresh mint springs
Method:
Method:
1. Boil 1 cup water and brew the tea in it for a minute.
2. Remove from heat and add the sugar and mint leaves and let cool.
3. When cold add more water, lemon juice, lemon rind and orange rind. Mix well and taste and adjust the sweetness. Refrigerate till chilled.
4. To serve, pour in tall glasses with crushed ice and a lemon slice, an orange slice and a mint sprig floating on the top.
